At first glance, Angels’ Cup might look like a coffee company. We're not. Did you know you can train yourself to have better vision? You can’t improve acuity, but you can learn to discern more subtle color differences. Part of it is about learning the vocabulary. (Did you know "coral" is a beautiful color in between pink and orange?) The other part is learning how the system works, i.e. the color wheel, hues, tints, tones, and shades. Our mission is to help you develop a superhuman sense of taste by building your vocabulary, and exposing you to all the hues, tints, tones, and shades of coffee.
Abby and Jeff, co-founders of Angels’ Cup.
“What does the coffee professional have access to, that the consumer doesn’t, that allows them to progress so fast? It isn’t cupping bowls, or spoons. It isn’t scoresheets, or large amounts of data about where the coffee is from. It is regular opportunities for comparative tasting.” - James Hoffmann
Jeff, living the dream.
Angels' Cup is creating “regular opportunities for comparative tasting”, and also a community of people, all trying the same coffees at the same time, via our app. No more relying on a single expert (or notes on a bag) to tell you how something should taste. Instead, decide for yourself how something tastes and calibrate your experience by comparing blind tasting notes with others.
Our design and development team, rockin’ some Brooklyn T’s!
Now what? If you're ready to develop a superhuman sense of taste, get some blind coffee tastings. We make everything super easy, you can cancel any time, and if you're dissatisfied for any reason, we'll give you your money back. It also makes an awesome gift.
Get some coffee!
